The Salvation Army - NJ Division is Hiring a Driver Near Asbury Park, NJ
Essential Function
The Driver will provide supprt to Corps programs by providing transportation to program participants.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide transportation services using Salvation Army owned vehicles to program participants.
- Maintain milage logs for Corps bus and minivan.
- Make sure vehicles are cleaned up after use.
- Make sure vehicles are filled with gas at appropriate times.
- Perform safety checks of vehicles before use, following organizational guidelines.
- Report any accidents or damage to supervisor immediately.
- Provide a safe environment for all program participants following Salvation Army Keep Safe guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Must be willing to work weekends as needed
- Must understand and appreciate the mission of The Salvation Army
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
